Abstract
The present work is about the raising of a professional profile, based in the model of education by competence, given by the School of Music of the University of Talca. In order to reach the purpose of this process, that is, to help giving a critical reflection to the academic community, it provides some backround of the educational proyect and of the main sources of reference that have been consulted. Especially, the article focalizes in the analysis of the three more representative targets of actual stage design profile of the graduates of Interpretation and Musical Performance of the University of Talca. Finally, it comes to the conclusion that the proposal assumes a collegiate work, a consensual focus of the pedagogical action and a support of the institutional management.
