Abstract
This article aims to compare and analyze the organization and technical contents of the 24 estudios para guitarra by Javier Farías Caballero and the 20 Estudios Sencillos by Leo Brouwer, in order to emphasize the contributions of both works in the training of classical guitar performers of the 21st Century. In addition, emphasis is given to the elements of traditional Chilean guitar and modern music resources incorporated in Farías' studies.
